Unless you have very specific skills, such as graphic design, web design, computer programming, there are no real internet work at home jobs. You will just be bombarded with all kinds of work at home scams.

CNN did an extensive report on this.
They found that MORE than 99% of these online work at home sites were scams.
They could not verify the other 1%.
You will get about 50 answers on work at home sites to your answer.
Be careful out there – ok?
The spammers love these type of questions.
I read somewhere that by scamming people one site made $ 300,000 just in their first month.
So the spammers are agressive…
There are no legit at home jobs. None. Anywhere.
There are *NO* legitimate online “work at home” jobs, unless you count things like running your own business doing Web design or some other professional job where you bring in your own clients. All the ads you see here and in your e-mail are SCAMS.
There are ways to make money at home with the internet. I make money by writing. The key to deciding if it is a legitimate program or a scam is if you have to pay for the program. The moment you spend one cent, you know it is a scam as people are more interested in selling to you than helping you make money.
Some of the legitimate job opportunities include freelance writing for Yahoo!, photography, selling things on EBay and there are also some real typing jobs available too. Like I said, the key to deciding if it is legitimate or a scam is if YOU have to Pay THEM anything!
there are NONE period.
if they tell you there are the chance is about as good as the detroit lions winning the superbowl, no offense, but you get the picture.
EDIT- werner werner is a scammer
Most of the offers you see are indeed scams but over-generalizing is just as bad.
There are actually many ways to make money online but most require a lot of work and hard not paid by the hour.
If you have specialized skills, you may want to check http://freelancer.com
If you have call center experience, there are good online call centers. Here’s a list found: http://workathomemoms.about.com/od/companieshiringwahms/tp/callcenterjoblist.01.htm
I’m not affiliated with them and haven’t verified all the information but it seems pretty clean.
You may also consider affiliate marketing. There are two possible approaches to it:
- Make a web site and advertise other companies’ products for a commission with services like Commission Junction ( http://cj.com ).
- Sign-up for a good affiliate program. This option is the most risky because most scams take this approach and even the clean ones can not guarantee you’ll make a single penny. The only one I recommend is SFImg ( http://www.sfi4.com/11258707/FREE ) based on their good track records. Just be advised that you will not make a penny without a lot of hard work.
Just be careful and don’t give your credit card to anyone unless you are sure of who you are dealing with. Having said this, there are some people on here who seem to spend their entire day posting the same warning stuff about working online scams.. yes there are scams out there as there are everywhere but not everyone get scammed, only the ones who do not think.
There are certainly many scams out there, but those people who are telling you that everything is a scam have either been bitten because they have not done their due diligence, or have been too negative to make it work. You will find that without you putting in the effort, nothing is going to work for you, but if you are prepared to put in the hours that making a living requires there are actually many ways to make money working at home and online, but you will be required to invest in yourself and that means a lot of work which will not always be paid until you become proficient in your new job.
First of all, it helps to be able to identify the type of work online from home that you are willing to do or want to do. There is a lot you can do working from home. Data Entry, Copywriting, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, Affiliate Marketing, Blogging, Writing, Proof Reading, photography, become a virtual Administrative Assistant.
I hope that this has helped you to envision what is possible, good luck.
Some 9 years ago I got involved with a company in the second largest industry in the world – Telecommunications. What impressed me with this company was the attitude of the owners, they were already in a position where they could have retired, but they decided that they had a company that could grow and help very many people throughout the world to realise their financial dreams.
